To make your toilet and bath area spotless, you'll need to put up some effort and patience. While it isn't something we all look forward to, it is something we can't avoid. However, if you follow a procedure and work on one area at a time, you'll be able to clean effectively.

Follow these ten steps to properly and efficiently clean your bathroom:

Clear the bathroom

Remove ALL things from the bathroom for a more effective clean. It is preferable to remove everything at once rather than piecemeal. Place all little objects in a storage box outside of the bathroom, and wash any used linens (including carpets).

Sweep and dust

Remove dust from all surfaces using your duster. To reach corners, light fixtures, and vents, use one with a long handle. Sweep (or vacuum) the bathroom floor to eliminate dust, debris, and hair after you've dusted every surface.

Apply cleaner

Clean the surfaces of your bathroom. If you clean often, you can use an all-purpose cleaner, but if you need to remove buildup from your tiles, an acid-based cleaner is advised. Allow it to soak.

Wipe

Wipe off other surfaces with your cloth or sponge, including the shower track, shelves, towel racks, baseboards, windows, blinds, and doors. Work in parts from the top of the room down to be more efficient.

Prep to clean the floor

Follow the cleaner directions and combine the necessary quantity with a bucket of warm water.

Scrub away

Scrub the surfaces to remove any accumulation or loose dirt. The cleaner has done most of the work for you at this stage, making your task easier. Before rinsing, make sure you've gone over all of the surfaces.

Finish the shower area

Replace all of the things you took out of the shower and/or bathtub, cleaning them down with a clean towel as you go. If you have a shower door, spray it with glass cleaner and wipe it cleaned before closing it.

Focus on the vanity area

Clean your countertop, faucet, and sink using an all-purpose cleaner and a clean towel. Wipe off your sink or soap dish with a rough sponge to release buildup. Clean your mirror using a glass cleaner.

Scrub the toilet

If you cleanse the interior of your toilet on a frequent basis, use all-purpose cleaning. Use a toilet cleaner and scrape with a toilet brush if there is any accumulation. Using an all-purpose cleaner, spray the exterior and wipe it clean with a towel.

Mop the floor

Dip your mop into the cleaning solution you've made, squeeze away the excess, and begin mopping the bathroom floor. Allow time for drying. Reinstall the trashcan and replace the newly cleaned mats or rugs after they are dry.
